January 2006 -
I will be having a break from diving till late this year as I am expecting my first little bundle of joy. Until then please enjoy the photos I have in my gallery and thanks for visiting my site.
December 2005
- 3-12-05 As always a pleasurable dive at Bear Island and very refreshing after the last three dives I've done in what has looked a little like pea soup.
November 2005
- 6-11-05A 90 minute dive at Clifton Gardens in very poor vis. I managed to get caught not once but twice by fishermen. I can only imagine the "one that got away" stories that would have been told up on the surface.
October 2005
- 23-10-05 After a month on dry land, it was great to get back water. Two dives at Camp Cove
with about 2hours 40mins spent underwater.
September 2005
- 9-4-05 Typically chose the only day it's rained in months to go diving but at least it warmer in the water than it was out and vis at Camp cove was still pretty good. Water temp is rising. It's now a balmy 17deg.
August 2005
- 13-8-05 Had a great dive at Clifton Gardens. Although the water was cold, the vis and marine life more than made up for it. This is my second dive with my new D70 dSLR camera. A big improvement over my little Olympus point and shoot. 20-8-05 Another 15degree dive at Clifton Gardens. 28-8-05 A third trip to Clifton Gardens. 31-8-05 Had a day off work so thought I'd jump in for a double dive but due to poor conditions I had to do them both at Fairlight.
11-13.6.05
Entered my first underwater photographic competition. The Digital Download 2005 a competition held by The Australasian Scuba Dive magazine and hosted on Ocean Trek, a live aboard that departs from Jervis Bay. I managed to come first in the Macro Section with a close up of a Brain Anemone. My prize, a weekend for two back on Ocean Trek and my photo will be printed in the Australasian Scuba Dive magazine.
